It was a trip arranged by Verchie for his officemates and Allan and I were tagging along so we'd know if its something that we can arrange for SOAR (mental note: that name needs to be replaced).
The place: La Mesa Eco Park. Its surprisingly very nearby. And surprisingly full of trees. Yes, we have an honest to goodness nature place an hour away from Ortigas. Or Makati. Depends on the traffic really. Its near Fairview. And its for real.
We went to the nature trail part of it and the above photo is of the actual watershed where most of the Metro gets their water supply. Yes people, there are people out there looking after our water and making sure the surrounding areas are optimized for a watershed.
Just dont ask me about the park area for the place. Thats where most families go to for the Picnic grounds and the pool and an Orchidarium among other things. That will be explored next time.
