Middleburg's Town Hall

Everytime I am lucky enough to head off to Europe, I can never get over the fact that they, unlike us, are able to preserve everything that is of historical significance to them. I can't help but think that whenever I am faced with architectural wonders like the Middelburg Town Hall below. The closest thing we have at home I think is Intramuros, and even that I think we will all agree is not quite being treated with the respect it deserves.

I think it is this dedication to things old and of value that reflect how much of our history we're proud of...
